I Need Advice
I've changed the links in the body of the text to stand out instead of "hiding" like they were. I originally thought making them less obvious in the body of the text would focus more on the reading of the text instead of seeing a bunch of things popping out at you and automatically wanting to click on them.
However, lately I've been advised that the links in the text are so hard to see that often they are skipped over.
So I've changed the color of the outgoing links.
So...as a Bacon Press reader, what do you think?
Old way?
New way?
Other way?
I need (would like...would love) suggestions on this, please.
Thanks,
k.

I prefer links that stand out more. To me it's one thing that distinguishes internet publishing from other types of writing. But that's just an opinion. I think it's really a personal preference, no right or wrong way to do it.
I really like the pink links, but then pink is my favorite color.
I like the fact that if you want to find the links you need to search for them. but thats not very practical for the links. The gourmet ghetto link in dive was perfect. I felt like i was discovering a hidden treasure.
cheers

I like links to stand out, although after reading blogs for a while you do get a certain "linkdar" so you can guess which words are going to be linked.
